The reproducibility of research findings is a crucial component of research practice for the simple reason that if findings cannot be reproduced, it might be an indication that they are not reliable. Science is a collective enterprise where researchers must be able to trust the integrity of each other’s work in order to advance their respective fields of inquiry.
