It is an absolute pleasure to bring you this extra special guest mix from one of the leading jackin house and disco producers around today, Mike Chenery. Regular listeners of this podcast - and the disco/funk monthly specials in particular - will have heard Mike’s tracks before and he belongs to a small group of artists in this genre who are continually releasing outstanding music. Mike has been on the house scene since the early 90’s, first as a DJ playing with some of the biggest names in house music such as Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine and Boy George, and then as a producer as part of Bassmonkeys releasing tracks on Fierce Angel Records. Mike has since co-established the FUNKY TRAXX label as well as releasing regularly on other labels such as Funky Revival, Disco Down and Disco Filter.
