My mom has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 30 years. She started weight training (somewhat) around 10 years ago but it was really out of her comfort zone. 2 years ago I encouraged her to set a strength goal to achieve her first pull up. I knew it would empower her and change her relationship with strength training. She's gotten more serious about lifting in the past 2 years, and now that she is 61, she is stronger than she's ever been in her whole life. It is never too late to strength train your body and you'll never be as young again as you are today. As a proud daughter I had to share this with you.
