Informações:

Synopsis

On this month's episode of Work of Human Hands, we will be continuing on to Chapter 4, which discusses what exactly was lost in the translation from the Latin to the Vernacular, and that these changes are no small matter. We will discuss the dangerous and ambiguous wording of Vatican II's document on the Sacred Liturgy (Sacrosanctum Concilium) which has allowed the novelties which are realized today. Further, we will discuss why, for 1600 years, Latin was absolutely preserved as the language of the Church and why Latin is so necessary for doctrinal integrity and orthodoxy. We will answer that age-old question for newcomers to Tradition about why the necessity of Latin in the Liturgy is so essential. We will move on to the Instruction Comme le Prévoit of 25 January 1969 and how it was the concrete foundation upon which all the distortions, omissions, and outright errors in Novus Ordo liturgy rests. Join us as author Fr. Anthony Cekada and host Justin Soeder discuss these and other topics on this chapter in
