We kick off a very special week of USDGC coverage with a rare interview by the 19-year tournament director of the game's most prestigious title, Jonathan Poole. "Big Wave" Dave George, Pat "PDB" Bowles and Andy Goh traveled down to Rock Hill, SC to talk to Jonathan, who helped found the tournament on the campus of Winthrop University in 1999. Jonathan talked to us about the tournament's history, and Innova's efforts to make it the premiere event on the disc golf schedule. He also talked about the tournament's partnership with Winthrop, and how the course was designed. We also dive into what the organizers learned after the last two years of inclement weather, and what to expect from the USDGC in the future.
