Hey Silver Spoons Listeners, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. It’s the weekend and you know what that means! This one here was a doozy! Today, I'm covering S2E17: Changes which aired on March 3, 1984. In this episode when the tomboyish pitcher on Ricky's baseball team asks Kate for advice on how to be lady, she assumes that the girl has a crush on Ricky. Little does Kate know that she has set her sights on someone else. I was surprised that this episode actually chose to focus on someone not in the Stratton household instead of Ricky. This episode reminded me of when I was 11 and had a crush on my fifth grade teacher which I do talk about in this episode. Also a garden glove gets mistaken for a 5 legged frog by a gardener. I refer to Edward as a “hot daddy” several times during this episode and honestly I don’t think I’m wrong. Joel Higgins was a good lookin’ man in the 80’s.
