Today I'm covering the 2 Parter S3E3 and S3E4: Growing Up Parts 1 and 2 which aired on September 30, 1984 and October 7, 1984. In Part 1 Edward sets up a curfew that Rick ignores. In Part 2 Edward sets up a curfew that Rick ignores. Also I noticed in this episode that Rick has a couple shirtless scenes, I'm guessing that was for the teen girls in hopes that Ricky Schroder would make it into the teeny bopper magazines and help boost the ratings of the show in the teen department, especially since he's a teenager now and in high school, so so they'll have him do things like break curfew and runaway from home, going on dates with girls, arguments with parents, experiences that some teens can relate too. I really think Rick is being a little bit of a drama queen in this episode, even Kate calls him on it, saying he's been over emotional. He runs away from home after he breaks cu
