Why is Jesus Called The Son of Man?

Informações:

Synopsis

The son of man is a title given to the Messiah, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:20). He is the Word that became flesh and dwelt with us (John 1:14 and Matthew 1:23). He is also the son of David, the root of Jesse (Matthew 22:42, Matthew 9:27, Matthew 21:9 and Isaiah 11:1). Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, which enabled Him to identify and relate to man's suffering without committing sin himself—thereby retaining his sovereignty as the one true living God. And those who believe in him can identify with God and are called the children or sons of God (Matthew 5:9).
