He has been very passionate about music his whole life. Growing up in the 90's, Duky loved listening to Hip-Hop. Hearing drums, rhythms, basslines, and deep lyrics by artists like Wu-Tang, Mos Def, Nas, Gangstarr, and Mobb Deep greatly influenced Duky to start working on his own music. At age 13 he started messing around with FL studio making hip-hop instrumentals. A few years later, electronic music was introduced to him in Detroit at DEMF. He immediately fell in love with it and started producing house instead of hip-hop. Duky quickly gained respect and support with his remix of "Morning Cigarette" by major players in the game such as tINI, Enzo Siragusa, Chris Lattner, Richie Hawtin, and Marco Carola.
