Informações:

Synopsis

When Michael Dorf was 23, he used his Bar Mitzvah savings to open the Knitting Factory, a combination cafe, art and performance space housed in Lower Manhattan. As Chairman and CEO of Knitting Factory, Michael expanded the brand into Europe and Asia through record sales, festivals and tours. Michael is also a pioneer in the world of producing internet music. He left Knitting Factory in 2003, and in 2004 Michael entered an entirely different world and had his first experience with winemaking, which became his next passion. Michael created City Winery in 2007, the first fully operational winery in Manhattan, along with two wine bars which include a cheese bar, restaurant and performance space. City Winery is also one of New York's preeminent concert venues, with a list of artists such as Suzanne Vega, Philip Glass, Joan Osborne and Patti Smith. Michael opened the second City Winery in Chicago with great success. To learn more about City Winery, go to: http://www.citywinery.com/
