New student send-offs (or summer send-offs) are popular ways to welcome new students and their families to our colleges and universities. They take place in new student home towns all over the world and are often hosted by local alumni chapters and parents. But they're more than just welcome events: there are incredible opportunities when admissions, student affairs, and alumni engagement work together.
