The 80's was all about exploiting our fear of the power of computers and Weird Science, another John Hughes classic, is a modern-day Frankenstein playing to our fear of keyboards, CRT monitors and phone modems. High school nerds Gary and Wyatt use a computer to create the perfect girl (and Kelly LeBrock fits that part nicely), who provides them with not only the confidence and popularity they have dreamed of, but also a few really cool automobiles.
