"High risk, high reward" was the founding vision for Phoenix-based This Modern. Blending melodic rock/pop with modern rap/hip-hop, the band takes aim at carving a new and definitive path in an oversaturated industry. Electric, head-turning live performances throughout 2019 and a mini tour with Canadian alt-pop Juno award winning duo Neon Dreams in early 2020 has This Modern poised to climb the industry's chaotic ladder. This Modern released new heat in October 2020 with their highly anticipated single "Next Time Around." They followed "Next Time Around" with an acoustic version and an official video directed by Yellowbox Films. With the world turning a corner, This Modern released their first genre-blending single and music video of 2021 with "Symphonies," followed by a massive cover of "Help Herself."
