On the latest episode of Add Water and Stir, Mimi and AdoptiveBlackMom discuss the first time they met their children after being selected as matches.  These meet and greets can last a few moments in a Chick-fil-A or several days requiring extensive travel and expense.  It isn’t until after this meeting that families truly commit to placement of the child. It’s another exciting and anxiety-provoking part of the adoption process.
