In this episode, Nakiea host of the NICU stories podcast shares her journey to motherhood. Nakiea experienced the traumatic effects of having two children who were NICU babies. As a woman, who once prided herself in having it all together she found herself in a vulnerable space after she had a mental breakdown shortly after her kids were born. Nakiea shares her story and the steps she has taken to make sure that she is able to be the wife and mom she was called to be. She also shares how this experience has taught her more about herself and some of the unhealthy habits and relationships she had to release herself from in order to walk in peace.
