Start The Week Over stated their ambitions with the release of the debut EP ‘Wonderland’ in 2020 with a punk seasoned, pop-rock collection, accruing a sound that blends big hooks and intricate guitar work. Moving into 2021, whilst circumstances have kept the band apart physically, the East Coast quintet have made the best of the situation, allowing their natural creative flair and writing talents to flourish on Discord, making for not only a more collaborative process, but also allowing Start The Week Over to marry a more dexterous array of influences. The releases of "Up Tonight," "Keepaway," and "Sex in Berlin" shine the light on a broad assimilation of styles, with the new music nodding to the likes of Dance Gavin Dance, The 1975, Modern Baseball and even Carly Rae Jepsen.
