We live in a culture that seeks to justify itself by progress, power, presentation of self, and possession. Ultimately it says “You are what you’ve done.” Contrary to our culture, the Christian places their identity in Jesus and what He has done for us on a cross. We now stand firm in Jesus’ finished work for us by putting on The Breastplate of Righteousness. We are being clothed with His righteousness and called to walk righteously by standing firm against our enemy and to stand firm on mission.
