Ephesians #3 - Our Already/Not Yet Inheritance Ephesians 1:11-14 | Throughout Scripture there are tensions. In Christ, our salvation is an ‘already’ reality with a fullness that is still yet to come. God is completely sovereign in salvation and we have a genuine responsibility in which we are called to repent, believe, pray, obey, and share the gospel with the entire world. These tensions were never meant to be resolved, but embraced. And when we do, our lives will be marked by a greater sense of assurance, humility, and boldness as we live “to the praise of his glory.”
