Ephesians 2:19-22 | THE CHURCH | To be a Christian means not only being saved from something (sin and hell), but into something. And that diverse, beautiful, often-messy, global people of God is called, ‘the Church.’ What is the Church? And what should the Church look like? Paul gives us three metaphors to help us understand this reality: (1) In Christ, we are fellow-citizens; (2) In Christ, we are family, (3) In Christ, we are a holy temple, the dwelling place of God.
