Prayer connects us to God. Why then do most people wait for an emergency in their lives to pray? We call upon God in times of desperation. People in their human nature will exhaust every other resource before they put their faith in God and call upon His name. We all have come to learn that our conditions don't have to be ''desperate'' in order for us to cry out to God, but there is power in a heart that is earnestly praying to God.
