ASU biomedical engineering students Sheldon Cummings, Rex Moore, Byron Alarcon, and Levi Riley are working on the process for making these microspheres. The microspheres are one piece of the larger puzzle of targeted drug delivery, which has been baffling the medical field for years. Droplet was formed from the desire to engage in use-inspired research, which means research that has direct impact on people in the “real world”.
