Melissa Levy, Executive Director of PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) returns to BEN Around Philly to talk about the past few months at PAWS, working through the pandemic to continue their mission to rescue animals, provide affordable veterinary care, and one day make Philadelphia a no kill city. We got our own BEN-FM dog jockey Gloria through PAWS. Their annual Chef’s Night has been made virtual this year, and extended to Chef’s WEEK this time around. The event begins Sunday, August 23rd and goes through Thursday, August 27th with demos and tips from all-star chefs, and something new and fun beginning at 7pm each night.
