Beyond Birth

Central Oregon Birth Bereavement is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded to provide bereavement birth services to women/families who are currently facing pregnancy/infant loss (which may include miscarriage, stillbirth, preterm labor/loss, fatal fetal diagnosis and/or neonatal death) or who have experienced a loss. Today Liz is interviewing Jenny, founder and president, about the incredible service this non-profit provides to women and families in Central Oregon. A bereavement doula relationship can look however you want it to look.  This is about what a bereavement doula is, what they can do, and the relationship they can have with each family. There are different styles of support, a uniqueness to each mother/father's grief, and how Be Still My Heart is trying to make an impact on how society treats loss.
