The Minor Prophets are continually books that challenge our picture of God, and how punishment, sin, and evil are connected to human brokenness. God consistently draws us back to intimacy with Him in Habakkuk, despite the confusing and challenge oracles declaring Babylon as God's chosen instrument of judgment on Judah. Yet it contains a cornerstone passage of the Christian life.
