Pat's View: Inspirational Stories

  I have done so many dumb things... some people are wise enough not to mention them; I mention my dumb thing because I think it drives home an important point.   I am constantly amazed at how precise the Word of God can be in times of need. Recently, as I spent time in the Word I came across a verse in a different version than I normally read. Boy, did it ever jump out at me!   "Patient endurance is what you need now..."   Wow! God had my number that morning! There comes a time when you just gotta hold on...that's endurance. The patient part is a matter of attitude. I'm the only one that can control my attitude. I can get in a tizzy or I can be patient. There's peace in patience. Fear in tizzy.   Hebrews 10:36 NLT the verse continues "so that you will continue to do God’s will.
