Pastor Zach Fleming explains that commencement is closing one chapter and opening another. In Matthew 28: 16-20 Jesus has joined eleven disciples on a mountaintop. Jesus tells them that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him and that they are to go and make disciples, baptizing and teaching them everything they have been taught. Everyone is go and make disciples - Shepherds don't make sheep, sheep make sheep.
