HARVARD WINGTIP COLLECTION "Dancing" (1982) London Burger Records The big break! Lamborghini was starting a record label in 1982 and High Speed was its . . . alternative division? We didn’t know, but hey, they wanted to sign us and they paid us £500 to stay longer in London. These songs were recorded at Atmosphere Studios in a few nights. Charles plays bass and Stephen plays guitar and timbale. Roland plays the drums and handclaps, which are supplemented by Stephen and Charles. Someone came by and talked about a party being thrown by Tony Visconti, but we weren’t invited. The single that never was released, “Dancing” and “Slap Happy.” Born as Snarlaugher, G-String and the Leading Zeroes in the late 1970s in Madison, WI. Died as Harvard WingTip Collection (aka the Tips) in the mid 1980s in Boston, MA.
