Dr. Ka’ili is an Associate Professor of Anthropology and department chair of International Cultural Studies at Brigham Young University—Hawaii. We talk about the difference between Western and Pacific (Moana) mentality regarding time and space. His research deals specifically with Maui Tongans and relationships between people in their society.
