Every Believer, at some point in their walk with God, has asked the question, “If I’m saved, why do I still sin?” First off, as a Born Again Saint, you cannot and do not sin any longer... you simply “miss the mark” or “fall short”. There is a difference... Secondly, the work of Salvation requires the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and the work of the Believer. You must take off the grave clothes by working out your own salvation, being transformed by the renewing of your mind, and understanding that faith without works is dead. Christ finished His part, now we have to finish our part. When we are born, we are conceived in the marred image and likeness of Adam (sin nature), but once we are Born Again, we put off the old dirty sinful nature of Adam, and we put on the new redeemed and restored image and likeness of Christ!
