TalkFEED — Welcome to this week’s edition of the Run Talk SA podcast, I’m David Katz, Mr Active. I’m very delighted to welcome someone onto the podcast today who is a former South African record holder in the 400m. His personal best time 44:59, he was the first South African to break the 45 second barrier in the 400m. He also held the National Championship four consecutive times between 1996 and 1999 in the 400m. It’s none other than Arnaud Malherbe. You still know the name, we used to see him running back in the 90s at all these World Championships but we now hear his voice on commentary. Arnaud, let’s get straight to it, I bumped into you last at the Comrades Marathon this year. I really want to look at athletes and a bit into sprinting, but Comrades, what a Comrades it was in 2015.
