Synopsis

F. Scott Fitzgerald was an alcoholic, and he knew it. This story is a look at his hope, to escape the deadly pull of alcoholism, and to live his life again. Sadly "Scotty" died just a year after writing this. Fitzgerald addressed alcoholism countless times in his stories, and often used surrogates for himself as he does in this story, but I think this might just be my favorite. Love our shorts?
