A Generational Curse is defined as defilement passed down from one generation to the next.  The proponents of generation curses propose that when multiple cases of the same problem happen within a family line, it is a generational curse.  What this statement is saying is this:  if a family has multiple cases generation after generation of situations such as but not limited to:  alcoholism, divorce, anger, depression, suicide, sickness or disease, mental or sexual abuse the family must be suffering from or under a generational curse.
