God makes a covenant with man and reminds us and Himself of this through the rainbow. We should remember God's fatithfulness when we see the beauty of the rainbow. Throughout history, many have misused the "Curse of Canaan" in Genesis 9 to slavery and racism. There is no justification for racism. We ought to be the leaders of the world in breaking down barriers and building bridges across racial and cultural divides.
