We discuss how to prepare you and your kiddo for college, what we can do as parents to help our college kiddos and how to successfully send them off into the world.    An Associate Professor of English at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Dr. Corrine E. Hinton teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in writing and the teaching of writing. She received her Ph.D. in English (Rhetoric & Composition) from Saint Louis University in 2012 and her M.A. in English (American Literature) from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2007. She’s been teaching in higher education for over a decade and has directed several student success centers. An award-winning educator, Hinton develops higher education faculty in engaging approaches to support the first-year experience for diverse student populations, integrating High-Impact Educational Practices, and supporting Experiential
