In this Sunday sermon (August 4, 2019), Pastor Kelly Boyd preaches on Jesus' parables of the growing seed and the sower, explaining how we are called by Christ to lay down our lives for one another to grow in our spirituality and relationship with God and, in turn, our relationships with one another, and how we all seek being spiritually rooted in good soil (deeply rooted in our faith and devotion to God regardless of our constantly changing circumstances in life), rather than allowing ourselves to grow roots among thorns (letting our faith and devotion wain or die out during times of stress, anxiety, etc.), spring up too quickly and not take root, or fall along the path and not even reach the point of being planted in God's way for us in this life.
