About 6 months in to our marriage, Brandon sat down beside me and said, "I think we should plant a garden." He then proceeded to talk about all the different fruits and veggies that we could grow and how wonderful it would be. He even talked about killing our own meat (he's never hunted a day in his life). I turned to him, gave him a kiss on the forehead, and said, "Babe, we live in a hotel." And I got up and walked away. We really were living in a hotel at that time because we were in Arizona for Spring Training, but we still don't have a garden. And we  don't live in a hotel anymore. Let's just say gardening isn't really my specialty... But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the intricacies of what is required to make things grow.
