 In years to come this fabulous album by The Higher State may  receive some plaudits as being ahead of it's tyme in a weird kind of  way. The early line-up, may have even been the original line-up.  Recorded between June 2007 and January 2008. Beautiful sounds and the  thick card sleeve and heavy vinyl had not been seen since the late  sixties. 12 string guitars, harmonies and excellent drumming throughout.  Keen purist production too nailing the sound. It may have been darker by the day but it's as intoxicating as a  Summer's night in my mind.
