I am lucky enough to chat with Peter Gorton and Payton Woodson who are helping to create the movie/documentary regarding John Donaldson, the greatest baseball pitcher you have never heard of. In a 32 year career that began at age 17, he played in over 2300 games from 1908 to 1949, when he became the first black scout in major league baseball history, working for the Chicago White Sox.
