Grace Dark Horse became a household name when her story was showcased on Season 1, Episode 9 of the TV series, “Prison Wives.” Dark Horse is proud to be married to Dave, who is serving a life sentence for 1st degree murder. She agreed to be a guest on My Girlfriends Couch because she wants the world to see that many inmates have wives, husbands, children, family members, and other loved ones who love them deeply. She is hoping to shed a different life on Prison Wives and the men they’ve chosen to love. In 1982, Glen Blackhawk was 14 years old when he was handed a 50-year sentence for murder. The victim was a child molester who had drugged him and his best friend, Billy. They had both been beaten, but Billy had also been raped. At age 40, Blackhawk was released from prison. He will join us to share his story on how he became involved with “Prison Wives” and also give advice and clarity on what life is like once you get out.
