Mr. Rivers shares his life's lessons from the grid iron and how he has used this platform to propel him into running a successful speaking business, auctioneer, and author. HISTORY  Mr. Rivers signed with the Denver Broncos in 1991 as an undrafted free agent running back out of Southwest Texas State University (now renamed Texas State University). He played 6 seasons with the Broncos.  In 1991, he was named to Pro Football Weekly’s All-Rookie Team as a special teams player and in 1992, he won the Broncos Community Action Player Award in recognition of his volunteer service throughout Colorado.
