John Magrino, the administrative dean at Dr. Phillips, had one of the most important roles at the historic first NCAA Playoff National Championship in Arlington, Texas. Magrino was the public address announcer for Ohio State’s 42-20 victory over Oregon. He also has been the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announcer for 17 years. Ray Castoldi has been the organist at Madison Square Garden since 1989. During the summer, when the New York Rangers and New York Knicks are spending their offseasons, Castoldi can be heard at the organ at New York Mets games at Citi Field (and previously Shea Stadium). He is the only person to play for the Mets, Rangers and Knicks in the same season.  John Register is a keynote speaker who won the long jump silver medal in 2000 Paralympic Games.
