Cassell's Corner

Host Tommy Cassell talks with two players and the head coach of the Hudson High softball team. The Hawks are off to a 6-0 start so far this season after a 12-0 win over Groton-Dunstable on April 24. In that victory, junior left-hander Sophia Togneri thew a no-hitter, striking out 11 batters in seven shutout innings. Senior captain Maddie Haufe went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run as well in the win. Coach Laura Bowen is in her second year of being the head coach at her alma mater, as she won a state championship in 2007 as a player. The four talk about softball, changing positions, cooking and nanny and manny-ing.
