David Eby Cellist, educator, actor began musical studies at 6, and his public debut as cellist with the Pittsburgh Symphony at 16. He is the founding cellist for the musical storytelling troupe, Tales & Scales, developing his composing, arranging, improvising, and acting skills. In 1996 he joined internationally known band, Pink Martini, touring the US, France, and performed with the Portland Opera Orchestra and the Oregon Symphony. In 1999 he left the music world to teach at the Living Wisdom School in Beaverton, OR, learning the Education for Life philosophy. He moved to the Ananda Village in Nevada City, CA, as music director for 16 years, music and taught at Ananda College. David is featured in the film, FINDING HAPPINESS as the tour guide for the visiting journalist (Elisabeth Rohm). He produced, composed, arranged, and recorded the soundtrack for FINDING HAPPINESS.
