Join Dr. Judy this week as she welcomes Dr. Rosemarie Niznik DVM, CVA, CVSMT, a holistic veterinary colleague whose newly launched Harmony Rose Animal Wellness practice integrates Eastern veterinary medicine, including TCVM, acupuncture, chiropractic and palliative care to her patients in the comfort of their own homes. Her practice is located outside of Chicago in Lombard, Illinois, where she shares a 5 acre farm with her fiancé, Chip, their Bernese Mountain Dog, Grace, and two rescue cats, Wendy and Willa. After veterinary school graduation, Dr. Niznik worked as associate and small animal veterinarian in numerous day practices and emergency hospitals in the Northeastern States. Her interest in alternative and complementary treatments along with her own personal experience with acupuncture and chiropractic for a back injury led her to Holistic Veterinary Medicine. She enrolled in the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) where she received her Certification in Veterinary Acupunct
