Women of Denver (WOD) with Krystal Covington Have you ever wished for something that didn’t exist? Whether it was wishing for a hiking club in your area, a mom’s group or a support network for those in your field, it can be frustrating when you have a need, and there’s no way for you to fill it! That’s exactly what happened to Krystal Covington! She dreamed of being able to network with women, but not in the traditional let’s-trade-business-cards-and-never-really-connect sense. Her idea of networking involved creating a deeper, meaningful connection, where women could share what they thought, learn and grow. So what did she do, when what she wanted didn’t exist? She built it herself! And her vision went from a handful of a women at a coffee shop to the being the most diverse and active women's organization in Denver.
