Book of Mormon  1 Nephi 7: 1-3   The Lord commanded Lehi to send his sons back to the land of Jerusalem. It wasn't meet for Lehi and his family to travel alone into the wilderness and the sons of Lehi were commanded to bring Ishmael and his family along with them. The Lord intended his sons to marry. Specifically, the Lord intended for the sons of Lehi to "raise seed unto the Lord." "Unto the Lord." A family raised "unto the Lord," stands apart. It begins with a marriage performed under God's Law and God's Authority that is bound not only in this world, but in the world to come.
