At age 14 he became a local leader and started preaching and taking evangelism teams to neighboring tribes. At Iris-Ministries Ramito served as the Values In Action Program leader (a Bible teaching program) as well as a coordinator for groups of local pastors and missionaries to evangelize in the largest hospital in Maputo.
