The scales are one of the easiest ways to know if you are losing weight. You step on, and the number is either higher or lower than last time. Unfortunately though, weight loss is not that simple. What sort of training you are doing can have a big impact on the number on the scale, regardless if your health is increasing and your body fat is decreasing. This week we talk about alternative ways to monitor your progress that are less likely to cause you anxiety, disappointment and distress. These alternative measures can objectively tell you if your body is changing. It will not tell you what the number on the scales is doing.
