This week, we begin a series of standalone sermons by looking at Hebrews 12:1-2. This passage is full of imagery that describes faith as a race. In it, we will learn the importance of the truth that faith is not a solo activity, but a commitment to live in community. The author of Hebrews goes on to challenge Christians to live with endurance and lay aside anything holding them back from pursuing Jesus.
