Fox Dunham interviewed writer and director Ryan Spindell, the mad genius who wrote and directed Shudder's new horror film, The Mortuary Collection.  This anthology movie tells the story of karmic punishment of evil and the nature of the storyteller. The story harks back to the days when horror had a bit of camp but was ultimately fun. After attending film school in Florida, Ryan relocated to California where he established Trapdoor Pictures to produce the 'fun genre'. He draws his influences from 80's horror film and authors such as Ray Bradbury, Stephen King and Kurt Vonnegut. He chats with Fox about how horror films have evolved and what makes good horror.
